Prevent Tennis Wrist Injuries With End Range Conditioning

A common misconception is that poor technique causes wrist injuries in tennis. And while it can be a contributing factor, you only have to look at the number of professional tennis players who have wrist surgeries or retire through wrist injuries to realize there are other factors.

The reality is tennis places extreme demands on the wrist. The wrist has to absorb major forces in positions where they are the most vulnerable.

So if you want to be able to play without wrist pain and you want to improve your game, you need to put the work in off the court.

In today’s video, I’m going to show you one of my favorite exercises for preparing your wrists for tennis. It’s actually a technique I learned from an ex US national team gymnast.
